Delete your SafeNominee account

Delete it from the app

1. Sign in to SafeNominee on your phone or at safenominee.com.
2. Open the menu and choose Settings.
3. Scroll to Delete my account and tap Request deletion.
4. Type DELETE, enter your password and confirm.

Your account is erased 30 days later. Signing in again within those 30 days cancels the deletion. After that it cannot be undone, and the people you named will not receive anything you left.

If you cannot sign in

Write to support@safenominee.com from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Account: delete my account". We will confirm it is you and then delete the account.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email address, phone number and sign-in details.
• Everything you left: documents and their files, notes and scheduled messages.
• The people you named and their contact details.

What we must keep, and for how long

• Payment records and invoices — 8 years, as required under the Indian Companies Act and GST regulations.
• Account records needed for legal and audit purposes — up to 5 years after the account is closed.
• Security logs — 2 years, for fraud detection and legal compliance.

When these periods end, the data is securely deleted or anonymised. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove any single document, note, message or named person from inside the app at any time. The files of a deleted document are permanently purged within 90 days.
