SafeNominee is a digital legacy service: one place to leave everything your family will need when you are gone — what you own and where it is, what you wish, and what you want to say — sealed while you are here and handed only to the people you name, when they need it.
It is built for how Indian families actually lose an inheritance: not because the law failed them, but because nobody told them which bank, which policy, which locker, or which CA knew it all.

Leave your will (or say where the signed copy is), how you would like things done, who to trust and who to call. SafeNominee is not a will, but it makes sure your family finds yours.
Nominee handover after death — identity-checked and reviewed
Name the people who should receive what you leave, in the order you want them approached. Nothing opens for anyone while you are alive and well.
When the time comes, each person proves who they are, and a person on the SafeNominee team reviews every handover before anything is released. Each receives only what was left for them.
Inactivity check-in: a dead man's switch that asks you first
Choose how long you can go quiet — 45 days on the free plan, 20 to 90 days on a paid plan. Every time you use SafeNominee, the count starts again.
If you do go quiet, we check in with you first, by email, app notification and text message. One tap on “Yes, I'm here” and nothing happens. Only then are your people gently asked “Is everything all right?” — never told bad news.
Reporting a death
Family can report a death with a death certificate. Our team reviews it, and it is held for 7 days so that it can be contested before anything is released.
Letters to your family after death, and messages on a future date
Write a sealed letter for each person you name. Choose “After my lifetime” and it is delivered only at the handover — or choose a date (a birthday, a wedding day, an anniversary, even years from now) and it arrives by email that day. Attach up to five files: photos, a recording, a document.

Some things are only yours. Mark a document or note Private and it is never handed over to anyone.

Download everything, any time
Take a full copy of everything you have left, with one readable page listing it all. If SafeNominee ever closes, you get at least 90 days' notice.
How your legacy is kept safe
What you leave is encrypted on your phone (AES-256) before it leaves it and locked with your password. A securely wrapped copy of the key is kept so that a handover can work one day — used only after identity checks. Our staff have no routine access, and we never sell, rent or share your data. Built under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Is this a digital will?
No. SafeNominee is not a will, and under Indian law a nominee is not automatically the legal heir — read nominee vs legal heir. We recommend a registered will alongside. SafeNominee makes sure your family knows what there is, receives your words, and gets help to claim it.
